Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Huerfano County Board of County Commissioners for the ensuing year of 2025. A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection in the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, 401 Main Street, Suite 201, Walsenburg, Colorado and online here:
A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held during a regular meeting of the Huerfano County Board of County Commissioners on November 12, 2024 at 10AM in the Commissioners Meeting Room, Huerfano County Courthouse, 401 Main Street, Suite 309, Walsenburg, Colorado interested parties may also join via Google Meet using the following information:

Any interested elector within such Huerfano County may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget. Comments may be given in person at a meeting of the Board, mailed to delivered to the Office of the Board of County Commissioners at the address listed above, or submitted electronically using the form here:
It is anticipated that Huerfano County’s final budget for the year 2025 will be adopted during a regular meeting of the Huerfano County Board of County Commissioners on December 10, 2024 at 10AM in the County Commissioners Meeting Room, Huerfano County Courthouse, 401 Main Street, Suite 309, Walsenburg, Colorado.
