Notice is hereby given that Huerfano County has opened a thirty (30) day period beginning April 16, 2025 to accept written comment from the public on if the County should contract with Panadero Ski Corporation to operate the Parker Fitzgerald Cuchara Mountain Park. The draft agreement and other supporting materials are available here:
The County is also seeking public comment on whether certain activities should be allowed at the Cuchara Mountain Park such as the proposal below from Buckhorn Ridge Outfitters that, while not being considered, is an example of services (in this case lodging) that could be developed at the Park.
