Gardner Main Street Community Meeting

Dear Gardner Community Members,

We would like to invite you to the Gardner Main Street Community Meeting on Saturday June 11, 2022 from Noon to 5PM at the Raymond Aguirre Community Center.  Lunch will be provided.  The bulk of the meeting will take place from Noon to 4PM.  4PM to 5PM will be discussion and questions.

Tentative Agenda:

12 Noon to 12:30 – Lunch

12:30 to 1:30 – Agenda Presentation and Introduction
Background and presentation of the project.  Where we are so far. Discussion of ideas so far.  What’s going on in the community?

1:30 to 2PM – Community Mapping Breakout
How do people use space in Gardner?  What are the community resources and barriers to accessing community resources?

2PM to 3PM – First Visioning Breakout
Breakout into specific groups on specific topics to tackle specific issues. Groups will be: (1) Housing; (2) Economic Development that Benefits the Community; (3) Infrastructure; (4) Recreation

3PM to 3:40 – Second Visioning Breakout
Same topics as before but participants choose another group to join.
