Attention Huerfano County residents! You’re invited to participate in one of two exciting open house events on Monday, May 1st! Come share your thoughts on a variety of topics, including housing, transportation, recreation, economic development, and hazard mitigation. There will be two sessions – one at the La Veta Community Center from 12-1pm and another at the Huerfano County Community Center from 5-7pm. Your input will inform several ongoing planning efforts, including the County’s Comprehensive Plan update, Hazard Mitigation Plan update, Housing Needs Assessment update, and Innovative Housing Strategies Plan update.
